June 2019: The association of ART and epigenetics: Is it clinically relevant?

The purpose of this Journal Club Global is to discuss and debate the June 2019 issue's Views and Reviews on "Infertility etiology and health of the offspring." The event will be in the form of a Fertile Battle debate about the association of ART and epigenetics and its clinical relevance. Questions and issues addressed include:

  • Principles of epigenetic disorders and the underlying mechanisms by which ART technologies might impact imprinting
  • Evidence linking ART and epigenetic disorders
  • Clinical relevance of epigenetic disorders in ART
  • Epigenetic implications of counseling patients for elective versus infertility ART treatments

This Journal Club Global is hosted by Fertility and Sterility's Interactive Associate-In-Chief, Micah Hill, D.O. The event will involve live interaction with the audience onsite, as well as the audience online.
