This event focuses on two ASRM Practice Committee Opinions: “Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) for non-male factor indications: a committee opinion” and “Clinical management of mosaic results from preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) of blastocysts.” The important topics will be discussed with members of the ARSM Practice Committee: Alan Penzias, M.D., Denis Vaughan, M.D., Andria Besser, M.S., CGC, and Lauri Black, M.S., CGC, along with expert discussants Sangita Jindal,Ph.D., and Lan Vuong, M.D., Ph.D.

Questions and issues addressed during the event include:

  • How and when does ICSI improve ART outcomes?
  • Should ICSI be used in couples without male factor infertility?  
  • What issues are critical for your patients to understand regarding mosaic embryos? 
  • What factors are used to prioritize the use of mosaic embryos?
