As the world begins to believe in a new dawn, one that resembles our before-COVID world, there are a few lessons that we should document for posterity. The entirety of the human race faced (and continues to face) a deadly, communicable pathogen. We had learned from prior pandemics about methods to limit the spread of similar communicable diseases. Wear our masks, wash our hands and keep our distance. The virus, although mighty when inhaled or inoculated, is feeble when unable to reach its victim. All humans breathe. All humans are susceptible.
